Therapist by day and superhero by night!
Has trauma/life lead you to lose yourself in darkness?
You have no confidence in yourself. You are afraid to face the world. You feel you give too much. You feel very confused about who you really are.
You don’t see you when looking in the mirror. You can’t experience things you want to. You’re angry your life didn’t turn out like you wanted it. You feel disconnected from everything/one around you.
You will take on the world with the confidence you didn’t have before. You will set boundaries without fear. You will say “no” and not feel guilty.
You will know who you are and what you stand for. You will experience new and exciting things. You’re relationships will build you up rather than tear you down. You will take back what mental illness has stolen from you.
Who I am
Hi, I’m Elizabeth. I am currently an intern working towards my Master’s in Professional Clinical Counseling. My passion has always been people.“You must unlearn what you have learned” I love this quote from Yoda; as people, we are creatures of habit, and sometimes we have to shake up things, that way we can succeed. This led me to start working as a Case Manager for children with behavior problems, then as a clinician for adults with severe mental illness, and then later I continued as a social worker for children in the foster care system.
These work experiences have taught me that dealing with past trauma requires help. This is where I come in. I use a variety of integrative techniques that are tailored to my clients. Dialectical behavior therapy, Cognitive behavioral therapy, and Art therapy are my specialty areas.
Troy University, BS in Psychology

Certified with Attentional and interpersonal Style (TAIS)
Certified with Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts (SYMBIS)
Goofy, compassionate, enthusiastic, a bit (and by that I mean A LOT) geeky, and willing to walk this scary road with you until you reach your destination.
My interest in mental health counseling started with my own self-discovery. It was through the traumas I experienced throughout my life where I discovered it takes a helping hand or outside force to guide you through the darkness. This is where you find peace, love, and ultimately yourself.
Like Natasha Romanoff; “I don’t judge people by their worst mistakes.” I fully believe that to become who you truly are, you have to deal with the past and be prepared for the future. I am fully ready and willing to help you on your path to healing and discovery.
